Liberty Education

Tom Woods

Tom Woods and his projects are indispensable in quenching mwoods_bigy constant thirst for knowledge. First of all he has a podcast that has new content 5 days a week! With 25-30 minutes of content that alone is an incredible resource, but Tom’s also a New York Times Bestselling Author with his books Meltdown and The Politically Incorrect Guide to American History. He’s also written a slew of other great books which can be found here.

In addition to all this Tom has created an online learning site called Liberty Classroom. He’s assembled some of the most knowledgeable people to give video (or if you prefer audio) courses on fascinating subjects. Current Staff includes Professor at Connecticut State University and NYT Best Selling author Kevin Gutzman, University of South Carolina Brion McClanahan, Jeffery M. Herbener Chaiman of the department of economics at Grove City college, and more, including Tom himself. When I first subscribed to Liberty Classroom they had 9 courses and currently they have expanded to 13 and are always adding more.

The Foundation for Economic Freedom is a my favorite site to learn more about economics. I’m always entertained and enlightened over at FEE. One of my favorite parts of FEE’s site is their series
Clichés of Progressivism. They take bumper sticker sized slogans that may (or may not) have a superficial plausibility and apply both sound economic reasoning and real world examples demonstrating that the clichés that get tossed around are oftentimes flat-out false.

Famed anarchist Lew Rockwell’s site features articles from some of my favorite brains. Regular contributors to the site include Ron Paul, Walter Williams, Judge Andrew Napolitano, and, of course, Lew himself. I have rarely felt my brain stretch more in ways it hadn’t before than when reading articles posted at
